Selfie

Not for me the mobile phone held at arm's length: when I do a "selfie", I do it properly!

In this case, I needed a decent photograph for a Visa application: the requirements for the photograph were very specific, and the size required (5cm x 5cm) is larger than a standard British passport photograph, so I couldn't use any of the spare passport photos I had lying around. So, stand in front of a light coloured wall, camera on a tripod, flash bounced off the ceiling, and press the remote shutter release. This was what it looked like from my viewpoint!

It took several attempts to get a photo I was satisfied with - but I'm seldom happy with pictures of myself.
