White feathers ...

Melancholy Monday. Work ridiculously busy but more importantly I am soon to be abandoned by the teenage/almost swans - and possibly Mr and Mrs Swan. This morning a flock of geese landed on the pond at Big Pond Community 1. Stayed briefly and flew off again. Subtle difference with the teenage swans - 4 of them were on the little pond just by the decking area - they were quiet and not their usual noisy selves. Mr and Mrs Swan were nowhere to be seen. I wandered down to the big pond and one teenage swan was swimming calmly around alone. White feathers were much more noticeable. So Mr and Mrs Swan and one of the teenagers were missing. Early evening just before I went home some of us saw Mr and Mrs Swan flying - how beautiful - and they flew past the office window several times.
