My Time Abroad

Qtown forever

An early as trip to the airport occurred Tuesday. Me and Blythe managed to use the trains quite successfully with three transfers leading to the airport. Our flight departed at 6:30 a.m. and was a little longer since Queenstown is way more south than Auckland. The views coming in to Queenstown were amazing! I was glad to have the window seat. Exhausted (and also sore from the steep hike in Aussie the day before) we didn't do much our first day in. We got our rental car which was great. Turns out I can drive really well on the left side of the car and the left side of the road. Thought it would be much harder! Just cruised a bit around Queenstown which was the coolest city I have ever been too in my life.

Small yet packed, surrounded by crystal clear lakes and purple mountains. And it seemed like everyone in the city was just young and hip. It just had the best vibe ever. Our hostel was fun, we had a four person room with a guy and a girl from Holland juts traveling around looking for jobs. They were really chill.
