Goodbyes are Never Easy

After a very emotional goodbye to Queenstown we were off on our 7 hour drive to Christchurch where our flight would take off the next morning at 5:30 a.m. Originally, we had planned spend some more time in Christchurch, but we fell in love with Queenstown too much and had to stay for Blythe's birthday. Another long yet scenic drive but it was dark by the time we got to Christchurch so we couldn't see much of it. Our hostel was also a little sketchy, but we had to leave at 4 a.m. anyway.

We said goodbye to our rental car Dolores at the airport and were back off to Auckland. I never wanted to leave the South Island, my heart broke as we took off. But I will be back. I just know it.
