Strolling in the Padi fields

This was taken strolling in the Padi fields at dawn (pretty much the only time cool enough to go for a walk), the rice is ready to harvest so there are lots of men and women chopping it down with scythes, while others walk around chanting and hitting drums to keep the birds away from eating the rice.
