Just a walk in the park

Up early to take pa-in-law to GP. Just a check up but more tablets and another blood test. Prescription collected and home to check some paperwork with him.

On to my mums, very affectionate as always, loves having her hair brushed, kissing her soft toys and always gets on the scales for a weekly check.

Back home - him indoors working from home this week to rest his back and attend a couple of chiropractor appointments. The saga with the oven continues, having borrowed pa-in-laws and dumped ours, him indoors arranged for an electrician from British Gas (I know it sounds funny) to visit (part of Homecare cover).

Whilst electrician visiting, took the dogs for an hours walk, lovely day and wore us all out. Back home, sat in the garden cooling down with a cold drink and a little ice cream. Oscar decided to get onto my lap and in the process covered his face in my ice cream. Only thing for it - let them finish it off (I'd eaten most of the chocolate off of it!

Relaxing afternoon on the cards.
