Seaside Holiday

The villagers of Berrynarbor, near Combe Martin, where we are staying for the weekend all have one of these flowerpot characters in their garden: there was a Jack Sparrow-style pirate and a cork-hatted Aussie, amongst others, but this one was Tess's favourite. It's an attractive traditional Devon village and the pub does fine food and ale too.

We stopped at Porlock Weir on the way down, having never visited it before; definitely a place I'll be going back to for more blips.
