Heron Junior

When out walking the pups in the morning I always stop at this pond it is just such a peaceful place to stop and look , the trees and bushes around this area shelter you from most of the strong winds if there are any and there is usually a few swans and coots going about with swallows flying over your head. Today I spotted this bird perched upon an old wooden post and its friend was sitting on another just slightly further away, I thought at first they may have been shags but on checking the bird book I think that this is an immature Heron. The light and sparkles in the water and his reflection just make it a nice simple pic for me :):)
