THE TIGHTROPE ACROBAT

in the garden. He gave no performance. Not today, probably not tomorrow either.
I see an old man with a goatee beard and a stick in his hand, balancing.
I slowly started this day, preparing in mind the long travel tomorrow to The Hague.
Some little tasks performed, a bit clearing, so nice when one comes back again in some weeks.
The weather changing from dull to a hopeful sunshine, that disappeared as soon I settled myself in it. All in all a better day.

My haiku:

I would applaud loudly
When the performance was over
And the old man alive

And the proverb:

A round peg in a sqaure hole (or vice versa)
