Whipsnade

I had a free day today so I took myself to Whipsnade Zoo which isn't too far from us. I am fortunate enough to have a season ticket this year so it made a wonderful and very cheap day out - £4.50 return on the bus and I even took my own sandwiches!!

I forgot until I got there that there had been a new baby elephant born just a couple of weeks ago and he/she was just so cute. I couldn't decide which photo I liked the most so just had to have a selection. I love the reflection in the water from the flamingoes and meerkats on watch always make me smile, but the baby elephant had to come in as well!
