One For The Road

Tomorrow is the start of Sober October (OctSober?) as Ann and I decided to clear the decks a bit and have four weeks off the sauce. We did it earlier on this year (six and a bit weeks actually, slightly too long for my liking) and we both felt a little healthier and lighter at the end of it.

So if you see me in October with an alcoholic drink, feel free to knock it out of my hand then give me a smack.

I saw this little treat in Waitrose on my walk home and thought it made a slightly more sophisticated last drink than a can of lager...
