Chessels Court

I used to live here about twenty years ago. I was walking down the Royal Mile today and decided to see if it still looks the same. Probably hasn't changed much in a couple of hundred years to be honest.
We had a flat in the basement, with a wee garden and I have mixed memories. Getting burgled whilst we were the has coloured it somewhat. I do remember that nipping out for a pint of milk often meant opening the door to be greeted by groups of tourists who seemed disappointed you weren't dressed in some sort of period costume.
Ah, those were the days.
