Ok, perhaps not til next April but this was me and my three best friends from school at the weekend, planning our 40th birthday treat to ourselves. We are off to the Big Apple to cheer on our joint big birthdays next year.

Can't wait as none of the others have been before whereas I was fortunate enough to be working there for 5 weeks when I was pregnant with C over 13 years ago, so looking forward to showing them all the sites. So good to be going back! Will also get a chance to catch up with lots of friends whilst over there too

Anyway, lovely lunch at the Cellar Door then off to Wetherspoons for cheap drink and free wifi to start planning our itinerary. Fab day out with great company
