Union Pacific Mixed Freight Train

I heard the train coming just after I rode my bike across the grade crossing.

I was riding my bicycle to a class this morning so I had an appointed time to keep.

I’m proud to say that despite being on the correct side of the crossing to continue on my way, I stopped and waited as the stop lights began to flash and the crossing guards came down with my camera ready.

I love the crossing signals and train whistles and rumbles as a build up to the arrival of the train.

The UP Locomotive # 7672 and its train of mixed freight did not disappoint.
