Artichoke

One of two bought on Sunday at Geilston Garden. We steamed the first one, probably not for long enough and we couldn't eat it. Decided I might have more success photographing one, with a bit of a shadow. I may try and boil this one. Consulted a couple of recipes, it will probably need at least 45 mins.

Another very mild day, 18C in Glasgow. The driest September I can remember. October tomorrow, still feels like summer. I wonder what I'll find to Blip .....!
