My sister, Lynn Susan, has been struggling over the past year. Many of you know her trials, but few know her personally.

The journey towards a new season is upon us and life as I've always known it is about to change. This reality never leaves me, it rests under everything else that occurs each day.

What's best is sometimes painful. That's okay, we need the valleys to appreciate the mountains. The balance for me is living in the good moments when they appear, and experiencing them fully, and then holding on to them.
