Looking up the avenue again . . .

. . . I was speaking to the tractorman from the farm at the top of the avenue this morning and he was saying that every water tap in the farm buildings was frozen, with minus 15 degrees for the last few nights - but beautiful clear days.

He came down to the Co-op on his tractor and had left a space heater on to soften the dung and loosen up the muck-spreader ready for a good, if smelly, day's work!
