Fluffed and Treed

Oh, cor. The lorikeets were wonderful today, gracing us twice! with their presence. Wonderful beasties. They were hopping about, over and around each other, and discovered how much they rather love the wet lorikeet mix. They actually like it dry as well, as you can see by this one snarfing up a line.

The shot for the day though, as chosen definitely by Mrs tsuken, and almost 100% by me, was this one:

A couple of the others from today (have a look in my lorikeet set) are sharper, and are finer photos of a lorikeet and its eyes and feathers, as it were, but this has something overall that grabs both of us more.

Such stroppy little sods. ;) A magot pie was interested in the seed the lorikeets were breakfasting on. Now, the fact that a magpie is an easy few times the size of a lorikeet made absolutely no difference; Lori made a couple of its patented aggro-hops, and Maggie vacated the premises in a big hurry.
