Open Field

Still beautiful weather, so on the way back from college today I stopped at the wheat fields in Liberton. They have been harvested now, with a few pickings left for the birds. This is a great vantage point looking towards The Observatory and The Castle. When I was a nursery teacher this is where we used to come to harvest wheat, in order to make a little bit of flour using a coffee grinder.
