Shaggy Ink Cap

JJ is back to painting the landing and staircase spindles and has six and a half to go to complete the first undercoat on the staircase section. The landing already has two lots of undercoat, which suggests to me that he is about half way through the task.

I've done a little gardening this afternoon, mainly trying to tame the Clematis Montana, which is taking over, as I knew it would.

I thought a collage of the toadstool I blipped two days ago was in order, just to show you what seems to me to be a totally pointless existence. I know it's edible in its early stage and that if left to its own devices it disperses its spores, and it looks amusing, but apart from that..............
