The Nene

It's pronounced nenn, and the river flows off to the left to the Wash. Upstream is Port Sutton Bridge. Across is a small former lighthouse "East Light" and out of sight to the right is a similar one, surprise surprise the "West Light". Both are private homes now.

East Light was once a local retreat (1933 - 39) of Sir Peter Scott a renowned naturalist, and son of Scott the Antarctic explorer.
