Orderly Trolleys

We had a lovely evening with David and Larissa last night, sitting on then10th floor roof terrace of our hotel and overlooking the Nile and Cairo while drinking wine and eating fish and chips which seemed such a comfortingly familiar meal after all the Arabic food of the last week.

Thereafter followed a sleepless night for me which I put down to too much last day excitement and made worse by the fact that I knew our taxi to the airport was picking us up at 5am. By the time we boarded our plane, I could hardly keep my eyes open and the flight time went very quickly.

Arriving back in Edinburgh was a bit of a shock to the system when the temperature was 3 degrees instead of the 35 degrees of yesterday in Cairo, However on the positive side it is good to be back to the order and cleanliness of the city in marked contrast to the chaos and dust we'd left behind.

We enjoyed our Egyptian safari immensely and have met some wonderfully interesting people who we aim to keep up with ,but it's always good to get home to the famliar

It has been a struggle getting it done quickly , but I have back blipped our days in Egypt
