Red cliffs of Roussillion
Picture postcard place is Roussillion standing on a hill of red cliffs that have been mined for ochre for centuries. Normally it's packed with coach tours but we arrived early enough to miss them. The early mist hung around for a long time. It seemed to quieten things and, in my colourly challenged way, to make the reds more intense.
