Couple of gadgets churned out at work for one of my colleagues. To be used with Shimano dynamo* hubs, in mini wind turbine generator projects, by Students doing renewable energy units in their courses. Only introductory level, so nothing too complicated/sophisticated.

Other inconsequential stuff: another nice day; haircut at lunchtime; posted off first spool of Ilford XP2 Super film for processing. Interested to see how that turns out, as it's not a 'conventional' Black & White negative film. It's a chromogenic type - "This means that the dyes which make up the image are formed during development rather than being present in the film or added later." It's processed with normal (C41) colour processing. Supposed to be good for folk like myself that tend to scan their negatives, rather than their prints. Will find out next week...

[* They're known as dynamo's, but in reality the ones we have are alternators - they generate an "alternating" (or AC) supply, as opposed to a dynamo which generates DC. Only discovered this whilst testing the output before making some of these gadgets a few years ago.]
