Humean
After a portrait of two pub philosophers yesterday, it seemed somehow appropriate today to get a picture of the real thing. As usual, Mr Hume is putting his best foot forward to be stroked and generally caressed in order to keep it nice and shiny.
I was shooting down the Royal Mile at the end of the afternoon to meet one of yesterday's pub dwellers so that we could go to a really interesting lecture about Paul Strand, photographer, by Fraser MacDonald. It got me thinking about how complex it is to put together a book of photographs and words. Puts blipping into context.
