Dying Love

Yes its another macro. Sorry. It seems to be all my camera wants to do, honest. :)

This is the last remaining rose from my valentine's flower bouquet from last week. And true to their nature, they lasted exactly a week. Oddly enough, when they were going strong, my favourites weren't the red roses. I've always loved the happier colours like the yellows and oranges. But when they're dying I'm a sucker for the red ones. They just look so tragic and romantic.

Very Romeo and Juliet...Paris and Helena...Napoleon and Josephine....Edward and Bella....*cough*
