Eco printing

We left at 7:45 this morning to drive 2 hours to Brookville for an all day workshop on Eco printing. Amelia Poole is the fiber artist who shared her process. She had prepared material. We had a variety of plant matter to lay on the cloth. The folded and rolled pieces were steamed for 1 hour. We were amazed at the transformation! We also used the process to make paper prints in the afternoon. We returned home at 5:15 this afternoon with 10 pages, 3 strips of cloth and a silk scarf! All for $45.00! A great day of learning!
