Nandi

Nandi was a 300 pound bouncing baby elephant born August 20, 2014. Some of the milestones of this precocious baby:

First time on her feet was one minute after birth with help from Mom. First ear flaps - 8 minutes. First meal from Mom - 26 minutes. First time sucking her own trunk - 34 minutes. First cordinated steps - 34 minutes. So far she has gained nearly 100 pounds and she loves water. Every puddle is mud-wallow worthy. Today she was playing with a rock and learning to scratch herself against a tree, same as Mom.
