Granny Smith Blossom

The Granny Smith apple tree has stared it's yearly cycle once again. The tree would be over 55 years old and is showing signs of stress from recent excessive fruiting causing major limbs to break. It could probably be within the range of a "Heritage" fruit tree and I would love to have some cuttings taken and attached to new root stock to make sure that this sort of treasure is not lost. Shame I am not a gardner!!
