Election

On my way to Machu Picchu historical sight. Tonight staying in a village nearby.
I saw a noisy croud shouting and launching fireworks. They were part of an election campaign for next weekends voting.
The guide explained to us that voters who do not vote in the elections will be fined. Maybe it's an intersting theme to explore to have people to look more into polotics?

Long day today flying from Lima to Cusco. After some sightseeing in Cusco, off on a tour bus and train ride to Machu Picchu villiage.
Looking forward to tomorrows challenge to the historical sight up there in the mountains.
