Allotment composition

An afternoon at the allotment continuing the never ending battle of the weeds. Made satisfactory inroads as well as gathering a bit more produce. Enjoyed another courgette risotto for dinner, we were not expecting any further crops. The plants are now in the compost. Planning to spend tomorrow afternoon there as well to tackle the area where the pumpkins and courgettes grew.

A fine and continuing harvest of dwarf beans too, the benefit of a late sowing has paid off. Must remember to do that again next year. The sweet corn was left too long though. Should have been harvested while we were away. Will keep it for decorative purposes now.
