Tomato Soup Cake-from way back when?

My mother in law gave me a recipe that she said was so good. It was an old-timey recipe, kind of like a spice cake, the batter reminded me of gingerbread, with tomato soup of all things, in the batter, and walnuts. It was yummy, a nostalgia cake, for Eleanor!
