Changing Sumac

Now, further leaf combinations. Both the gold and red are sumac bushes. Thought by some to be weeds but the birds thrive on the beautiful clusters of berries. I have planted at least one (not sure what the rabbits have left) in the back wild part of the garden. The NY state conservation department has native plants and trees on sale each spring. The sumacs were on the list two years ago. The only future worry I may have is that they grow into beautiful colonies by underground runners going in all directions.
