Castle Combe

Did a tour of beautiful Cotswold villages today. Went to Castle Combe and it is beautiful they filmed War Horse there, but photos marred by cars and trappings of the 21 century, thankfully took all my photos before the tour bus arrived. This tree was in the grounds of Castle Combe Manor. Had a lovely lunch in a pub then went on to Lacock another village with really old houses that have been used for filming Cranford, Pride and Prejudice amongst others, again very disappointed in the photos as cars and people were everywhere!!!!
