Boomerang Syndrome

Jimmy and Margaret are Alan’s brother and his wife. They emigrated to Australia in 1967 as ‘Ten Pound Poms’ and lived in Queensland until three years ago when they took everyone completely by surprise by selling up and returning to Scotland.
I had a visit from them this afternoon when they popped into the office to say that they have sold the house they bought in Fraserburgh and are returning to Australia, hopefully within the next six weeks or so.
They want to get back before they have to suffer another Scottish winter.
