To boldly go

Watched a documentary on voyager 1 and 2 today I remember following their progress as a kid but I don't think I was as impressed by the engineering and science as I should have been. Quite amazing what they did in 1977 when the height of technology was an apple II and music was played from a groove cut into a vinyl disk. Anyway they are still going just leaving the solar system and still sending back data. That's the beauty of a plutonium power source I guess
