Something old and something new

Another one for my monthly challenge today. Old and new shoes by our stairs.

We hosted an unexpected pasta party today. Oldest is running cross country and one of the things they try to do is have a pasta party at somebody's house every week before the meet. They had no one to host this week, so I volunteered.
