Just Robin Along...

Lunchtime blander took in Princes Street Gardens, and a couple of Robins keeping close tabs on me. I think it was parent and fledgling because they seemed to be getting on quite well, and the one in the shot used here looked like it was going back to the little hedge to feed the other one.

So yes, it's another bird blip. Reminds me of a gameshow years back in the 80s, something like Blankety Blank or the Price is Right. One of the contestants had listed 'birdwatching' as a hobby. Now in the 80s this was enough to raise a titter as the host raised his eyebrows. Oh yes, 'birds' is it. The chap decided to clarify as the burble of laughter grew, and blurted out, "The two legged kind!" Cue hysteria.

Monday is Monday, although I produced something today for the erstwhile boss and was immediately told it was exactly what he'd been after. I'm still trying to work out who he is and what he's done with the real version.

And all the while our new flooring is now going down. Bedroom could actually be done today. Fingers crossed when we get home that it looks good!
