Good news, bad news.

Found out I didn't get a marathon place in the ballot, but I'm not too upset because I've yesterday I was offered a charity place by VSO. It means I have to raise £2000 but I'm sort of looking forward to that in a way...

The other bit of good news is that I discovered all gins at Wetherspoons now cost the same as a Gordon's. I found this out when I met my friend tonight for an after-work drink. Hendricks, tonic, and cucumber for less than £3.
