Mum And Dad To The Rescue

We had a call on Wednesday evening from our daughter to say her ceiling had sprung another leak - almost 3 weeks after the previous one.

So first thing today we loaded up our car with tools, food and a pair of dogs and headed off down to Doncaster.

Took a while to pinpoint the leak - and it was just a little further along the pipe from where previous repair had been done.

So I pulled down all the damp plasterboard - she now has another gaping hole in the ceiling that will need to be patched and plastered.

During a brief lull in the days activities I got my camera out and found this little plant and several of the leaves had water drops on - despite having been quite warm and sunny all day.

This particular leaf seemed to have the largest drop - and I got to within about 1cm to take this shot. Liked the way the leaf patterns are shown distorted through the drop. If you look carefully you can see the top of the lens reflected in the drop too.
