Autumn Glow
This morning was grey and waybill very warm with the thermometer on the dash reading 16.5degC at 730am. Although the sun shone for a while with that level of warmth comes the moisture and much like a humid summers day by lunchtime the low level cumulus had built up nicely, piling in on top of one another as if grappling to be the first to cut out the blue sky.
By later on towards sunset, the skies cleared just enough to allow a magical orange light to emerge and pick out the tops of the cumulus and transform the sky into a blush of gold and blue-black cauliflower shadows.
