Horomaka's Version of 'That Tree'

This shot is another from one of my favourite locations, on the edge of the Little River Rail Trail at Sunset Point, Ataahua. The view across the marshes up to Kaituna Valley often offers up plenty of variation; no matter the weather, there's always a good blip opportunity.

Today's moody sky proved no exception, and I thought it would frame my version of 'That Tree'. OK, so it's not quite as dramatic as the iconic willow that stands in Lake Wanaka, but I like it all the same.

If you go large, you'll also notice a fresh dump of snow on top of Mount Herbert at the far end of Kaituna Valley. I reckon it's going to be a chilly night...
