Unpopped Blossoms

There were lots of little sprigs of these 'unpopped' blossoms under the gum trees today. There must have been an early morning parrot feeding frenzy or something. The little 'lid' on top will eventually pop off and out will come the blossomy bits! :)

I brought some home for a quick macro session as I'm not walking far at the moment and as a consequence the opportunities for photos are a bit limited.

I liked their shape and colour and hint of promise :0)

Feeling even better today except that this morning my nose was blocked and took until lunchtime to clear, I'm hoping that it was just a one off morning ugh!! Thankfully it's the weekend ahhh!!! ;0)
