South Coast Scribblings

Day out

I spent some time in Littlehampton today with my friend who I first met on the pottery course that I went to a few weeks' ago. We just got on so well that we wanted to keep in touch and fortunately she lives not too far away, so we met up halfway :-) You can see her in one of the photos. We had a long walk together (having had coffee and sustenance at the Look and Sea which is in the second photo). The weather was lovely - still so warm, but I think it's probably the last day of that. Still amazing for early October though!

After we parted company I popped into Tesco's to get some shopping. The traffic on the way home was awful as they've cordoned off a lane on an already busy stretch of road so I had to do a "round the houses" route to get home. That's the trouble with the south coast - too many people and cars, and too many roadworks!
