Amersham's Homage

Visiting our friends Peter and Liz today in Amersham.

This is the stunning memorial that Amersham has put up to the First World War. Each cross symbolizes 50,000 dead souls. The crosses were made by students at the local university technical college. It's a stunning memorial and I'm sad that will be taken down in November this year. I feel it should remain until at least 2018.
