Grasmere...in pouring rain

Travelled up to the Lakes for a long weekend today and hit squally storms and winds all the way up. The only salvageable blip was this one taken in the grounds of the house I am staying in whilst sheltering under a tree !
Will be going walking and running whilst up here...but lets hope the weather lifts a bit. The day was much improved by meeting up with John Gravett of Lph for a great pub lunch and a good old chin wag. Heres to good friends...whatever the weather is around you!
