Heron in flight

Should be Heron in FRIGHT! The poor thing was being picked on by every other large bird in the area! Rooks,Crows,Magpies and ever kind of Gull that was in sight.
I felt quite sorry for him as it is only a young one.Possibly this year born? Trying to establish itself a territory! I don't know why the other birds should chase it off as surely it is no threat to them!
Oh well! Natures way I suppose?
