Hovercraft Explorers
Last day of the holiday today and it's been great. We got in the car and went to Southsea first thing this morning and got our tickets for the hovercraft over to the Isle of White. It's something me and Mr J have always wanted to do and it was awesome, if slightly slightly surreal. Especially when we were going over land and there were lots of people on there who look as though they use it everyday and then us tourists that were far too excited!
Once over in Ryde we had a walk along the sea front. We found a great park right on the beach. Whilst A slept, P had a good run around. At lunch we found a quaint sea front restaurant and ordered the Cod & Chips. The portion sizes were huge. Even Mr J couldn't finish it. Then we walked along the beach and had a paddle in the sea before catching the hovercraft back to the main land.
Been to the club house again this evening. It's two late nights in a row for the kiddies but I think they may sleep well on the journey home tomorrow! The kids entertainment has been really good. P thoroughly enjoyed herself and even won a prize for her dancing during musical bumps tonight. She had to go up on stage and say her name and age. When asked where she was from she replied "I'm from Holiday", everyone had a little giggle bless her. She picked her prize out of the box and was as happy as larry all the way back to the caravan.
