Chasms apart...

I've never been to east LA and don't even know if the image of a pair of trainers hanging from telephone wires is in fact just a media concocted stereotype but culturally, it's probably chasms apart from a leafy part of a scottish capital city.

The comparison I'm aiming at is because this picture isn't taken in Los Angeles but is an image I associate with the american area. This was actually taken in the graveyard of an Edinburgh city centre church.
