Castle Coch
The wife's had a bad headache all day and didn't want to go for our usual walk, but get some winter plants to replace the summer bedding ones that have 'gone over', not helped by lack of watering when we were away.
Her energy got me working at the front cutting back branches and shrubs until I had nowhere else to put the rubbish, even using a bit of space in the neighbours garden refuse bin.
We ran out of compost, so whilst the wife went to bed to rest, I drove to Makro to re-stock on large bags of compost. Not far away is Castle Coch, where we got married, and a favourite place of mine having been visiting since the early 1960's with grandparents.
I got a shot of it showing the busy rush hour traffic on the A470 Cardiff to Merthy Road.
